There is a surprisingly long history of Japanese presence in Australia: from the Victorian Gold Rush, through 20th century business settlement and war brides, to more recent corporate and student arrivals.
This new exhibition was developed in collaboration with the Japan Club of Victoria, and focuses on the stories of individual Japanese who have migrated to Victoria over the past 150 years.
