I am a fourth year student at Monash University; with experience in one-on-one tutoring and teaching classes. I obtained an ENTER of 99.60 in 2006; which included a 50 (raw) for Specialist Maths and 48 (raw) for Maths Methods. I tutor Specialist and University/ Enhancement Maths, and I'm happy to tutor Methods.
At University I am studying Science and Mechatronics Engineering, with majors in pure mathematics and physics. I have completed Mathematics units up to third year at University, with an average of 99/100 over six subjects.
I am passionate about both maths and teaching; and I enjoy motivating students using examples and harder concepts to show why techniques are needed. I can help with theory and exercises, as well as providing notes and problem sheets.
I am available weekdays outside of University hours, which is usually after about 5pm; as well as on weekends. My rate is $30 p/h; and I'm happy to travel around the area from Sandringham to Clayton. So please call, sms or email me; my name's Leon.
